Team Bios - Jennifer Kim










Jennifer Kim is one of our fearless leaders in JAHA and also for this mission trip.  She pretty much does 100 things in one day (I think haha.)  No matter how tired or exhausted she is, Jennifer always puts in all her time and effort, serving others and serving God.  We are excited to have her many talents be to use on this 2013 mission trip!


So lets get to know her a little better...

AGE: 29 (almost 30!)
OCCUPATION/SCHOOL: Math Teacher at Pacifica Christian High School, Fuller Seminary Grad Student

WHY DO YOU WANT TO GO ON MISSIONS?  WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GO ON MISSIONS THIS YEAR?
I have been on a lot of mission trips, and each time has been a huge blessing for me. It is amazing to see God work, using a nobody like me to share his love with people from a totally different part of the world. There was no way I would miss this awesome opportunity to go to Ecuador again!

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ON MISSIONS?
I am looking forward to seeing a new region in Ecuador (Esmeraldas), and I am excited to see people’s lives changed through God’s work.

WHAT IS SOMETHING (OR SOMETHINGS) MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU?
My Korean name, Won Nim, actually means village chief.
I make really good dark chocolate chip cookies.
I think I am part bear because whenever it is winter, I always want to sleep A LOT.
